About the author
Jeff lives in Richmond, Virginia, and likes running, peanut butter and spending time with his wife and four kids, two of whom are adopted. He wrote this book to raise awareness and empathy for some of the challenges adopted kids face.
About the illustrator
Nikola is the author and illustrator of several children's books, including "The Last Gift of Sound," and "Lui: A Story of Searching." She enjoys spending time in the mountains and exploring her native Slovakia as well as other countries.
